DIFFERENCE BETWEEN N CHANNEL JFET AND P CHANNEL JFET

N-channel and P-channel JFETs control current flow using voltage, one with electrons (N) and the other with holes (P).

N-channel JFET

P-channel JFET

The flow of electricity is caused by electrons.

Because there are holes, the stream can flow.

A lot of electrons can move around.

The mobility of electrons is low.

It has a high transconductance.

It has a low transconductance.

When used in circuits, N-channel JFET is better.

It's not as good for use in circuits.

The noise level is lower.

It's noisier than usual.
