DIFFERENT TYPES OF BAND PASS FILTER

Different Types of Bandpass Filters

These bandpass filters can be broken down into two main groups.

They're: Wide Band Pass Filter

  • Narrow Band Pass Filter
  • Wide Band Pass Filter

Wide Band Pass Filter

  • There are two types of bandpass filters: wide bandpass filters and narrow bandpass filters.
  • A filter is called a wide-pass filter if its Q-factor is less than 10. To give it its name, the wide bandpass filter has a wide bandwidth.
  • The low-pass filter and the high-pass filter are separate in this type of filter, just like in the passive band-pass filter. Both of these screens are inactive.
  • An active high-pass filter and an active low-pass filter can be used to make a different circuit setup.
  • The picture below shows the circuit design for this filter. The first half is an active high-pass filter, and the second half is an active low-pass filter.

  • It is easy to make a circuit that works with a wide range of bandwidths because filters have many different parts.

Narrow Band Pass Filter

  • The band-pass filter beats ten in terms of quality.
  • It's not very wide for this filter to handle. Because of this, a signal with a small range of frequencies works. It has a lot of comments.
  • One op-amp is all that this band-pass filter needs.
  • Because there are two feedback lines, this band-pass filter is also called a multiple feedback filter.
  • The op-amp is used in non-inverting mode in this band-pass filter.
