Continuity Equation

  • The continuity equation shows how different amounts, like fluids or gases, can move from one place to another.
  • In this method, mass is kept constant while a fluid moves. The equation shows how a stream keeps its mass while it moves. 
  • It is possible to show that many physical things, such as energy, mass, velocity, natural numbers, and electric charge, stay the same using the continuity formula.
  • You can learn useful things about how fluids move and behave as they pass through a pipe or hose by using the continuity equation.
  • The Continuity Equation can be used on tubes, lines, rivers, and ducts that move gases or liquids, among other things.
  • You can write the continuity equation in either differential or integral form. Differential form is used at a point, and integral form is used in a limited area.
